The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Guardian podcast: Driving a Claas combine for the first time and exploring machinery opportunities in ag

The aim of this week's FG podcast is to highlight the disconnect between the general public and a machine such as the combine. They are vital in terms of food production; the technology and engineering is quite something, Yet most people beep their horns in rage at them when driving on roads.

Do consumers really know the process of field-to-fork and how the combine works?

Many will not even consider what opportunities there in terms of careers - from designing the machine to driving it.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø Guardian's online editor Emily Ashworth met up with the machinery team to discuss this and, take her first drive in a combine harvester.
