The two-model range with power outputs of 175hp in the 332M and 225hp in the larger 340M are designed and built by Mazzotti, an Italian business purchased by Deere in 2017 which has so far operated as an independent brand.
John Deere says market demand - particularly in the UK and France - has increased for mid-range self-propelled sprayers with the 300M range fitting well into its dealer offering. Two tank sizes of 3,200 and 4,000 litres will be offered with booms up to 36m, although most machines will be delivered with boom kits in the 21-28m range.
Although mechanically little has changed from its previous branding and colour scheme, John Deere says the key advantage of the machines is the complete integration of its farm management and guidance software, with the sprayer communicating to its JDLink software and operation system, with information and guidance provided by its recently launched G5 terminal and Starfire 7000 receiver.
Nozzle control and chemical induction options are numerous including individual nozzle shutoff, PowrSpray chemical mixing and tank cleaning.
