Boston Seeds has new growth

Boston Seed have new expansion plans with online seed ordering and new supply chains.

Boston Seeds, independent seed merchants, has new plans for growth following their expansion, investing in new offices and a 25,000 square/foot warehouse in 2021 and the appointment of George Wallis as managing director based in Kirton, Lincolnshire. Building on the recent success of the business, Mr Wallis will be harnessing their market position to benefit the agricultural and amenity industries.

Boston Seeds have dramatically shortened supply chains and supply times to benefit UK farmers by sourcing and buying direct from European based seed suppliers, against a backdrop of Brexit during a very difficult two-three years for many companies reliant on supply from outside the UK.

Mr Wallis said 鈥淲e are increasing the range and quantity of seeds available for prompt delivery. Supply chain issues and distribution during the last two years has highlighted the necessity for maintaining good stocks that are ready for delivery at short notice. With an increasing demand for a diversity of seeds to use in soil management, Environmental Land Management schemes (ELMs) and habitat creation, we have invested in both infrastructure and people.鈥

Following the growth and success of the company under Andrew Wallis, over the last 20 years,

Boston Seeds has already established a diverse product range as an agricultural seed merchant. Supplying both online consumers and farmers with linseed, environmental seeds, grass seed and wildflower seeds.
