Most breeds saw an increase in averages against last year, with the highest increase reported for the Lleyn shearlings and older Mule ewes.
Whitefaced sheep sold on Thursday and topped at £260 for 10 Texel theaves from G.E. Haynes and Son, Winslow, with the show class for pens of 25 or more whitefaced sheep competing for the chairman's cup won by Texels from Garfield Stephens, Kirby Bellars, which sold for £232.

Texel cross Scotch Mules topped at £196 for Harrison Bros, Calverton, while Texel cross Cheviots from M.R. and J.S. Cross, Blackthorn, sold to £238.
Texel Mules from E. Bullman, Thornborough, sold to £212 and the Beltex cross entries saw a £245 high for G.E. Haynes and Son.
Cheviot Mules sold to £195 for T. Kirk, Glympton, with Charollais to £218 for G.E. Haynes and Son, and Lleyns to £177 for Gates Farm, Great Missenden.
Suffolk cross Mule entries were reported as having a mixed reception, topping at £220 for the run of Suffolk cross Scotch Mules from Garfield Stephens, with F.C. Lester and Son, Radclive, selling to £218, and S.F. Deeming, Broadwell, along with George Eaton, Tingewick, close behind at £205.
The class of 25 or more competing for the Micheal Capel-Smith trophy was won by a pen from Garfield Stephens, which sold for £220.
Mule
Mule ewes topped at £185 for a pen of 20 from T. Tustian, Epwell and North Country shearlings topped at £215 for J. and H. Tustian, Epwell.
The 2,889 store lambs met strong demand, selling to a top of £105 for Texel cross Cheviot Mules from Micheal Cross, Blackthorn.
Charollais crosses from Kingston Blount Farms, Kingston Blount, sold to £96, while Suffolk crosses sold to £94 from Messrs Swerling, Chalfont St Giles.
Texel cross ewe lambs from M. and H. Pick, Thorpe Satchville, sold to £130.
